Young Thug has no doubts about which of his tasks stands above the remainder.
The Atlanta rap star joined streamer Adin Ross on a current livestream and revealed that his favourite album from his catalog is his 2019 hit venture So Much Fun.
“It was just the biggest album for me,” Thug defined. “I just felt like I had achieved the world when that album dropped, and I didn’t feel that way about no other album. I felt like So Much Fun was just, like, so fucking fun.”
Thug added that his friends sometimes disagree with his pick, saying that, for example, 21 Savage prefers Barter 6 and Jeffery.
When asked about his favorite track, Thug pointed to “Family Don’t Matter,” a standout minimize from his 2017 mixtape Beautiful Thugger Girls.
The country-infused rap track, that includes Millie Go Lightly, showcased Thug’s willingness to experiment with sound and pushed the boundaries of Atlanta lure.
So Much Fun, in the meantime, marked a serious profession milestone for Young Thug.
It was govt produced by J. Cole and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and featured star-studded collaborations with Future, Gunna, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, and Machine Gun Kelly. Its largest single, “Hot” with Gunna, later remixed with Travis Scott, turned one of many defining hits of Thug’s profession and cemented his mainstream standing.
The significance of So Much Fun went past the charts. As he instructed Ross, the album represented a way of accomplishment and pleasure that he hadn’t felt with another venture.
“That was the best time,” he mentioned. “That was the time to be alive for sure.”
