The Bucharest hub, opened in April 2023, was the US conglomerate’s third technology-focused campus behind places in New York and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and was designed to reinforce the corporate’s digital and technological capabilities. Romania was chosen because of the nation’s positioning as a worldwide chief in IT expertise, rating first in Europe and sixth globally as of 2023.
