I am Jessie Weiß, 32 years old, live married in Berlin, I am Mama von Levi (1), pregnant with the second child and founder of Journelles. I love Phoebe Philo, Stella McCartney and Isabel Marant, cannot run on high shoes for anatomical reasons, have a céline tasting stick, dance and passionately like to listen to hip hop, can rarely have irony, unfortunately still no French speak, although I think Paris for the most beautiful fashion city in the world, I prefer to look Jimmy Fallon, Jan Böhmermann, Game of Thrones or Relax at the series marathon on Netflix, I’m a small workaholic with a multitasking talent, professional Instagram scroll, clumsy in every life, I have a soft spot for Scandinavian interior and a pillow ticket, make big in wellness and would therefore prefer professional hotel testers. Fashion is my great love, but I rather invest my coal in trips and food – and now almost exclusively in my child.
As an old blog bunny – in 2007 I founded Lesmads – my personal dream came true in October 2012: I started my own business with “Journelles”. The blogazine is my digital home, news platform, fashion diary and daily contact point for exciting content around the subject areas interior, travel, beauty and both high fashion as well as contemporary labels and highstreet fashion.
In addition, I moderated the fashion’s fashion’s mode on a single-plane from ARD, advise companies in the social media sector, give lectures and journey around the world to present the most beautiful content every day. In June 2015 I have my own fashion label Jouur. founded.
My son Levi was born in 2016. Baby topics have been on since then Mini Daily treated and now more intense, since our second child is on the road.
Journelles has now grown: We are a six-member editorial team in the Berlin Prenzlauer Berg and opened our first temporary concept store, the journeyman Marché in summer 2018.
My credo: fashion has to be fun, work at eye level and shouldn’t take yourself so seriously.
