Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups and Miami Heat participant Terry Rozier have been each reportedly arrested Thursday morning in reference to federal playing investigations.
As first reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania, Rozier was arrested Thursday at a lodge in the Orlando space. Billups, in keeping with a separate report from ABC News, was arrested in Oregon. That report additionally states that Billups has been charged in reference to what the outlet describes as “an illegal poker operation tied to the Mafia,” citing police sources.
Per Shams, the 2 separate unlawful playing instances are “related,” with federal and state officers slated to offer additional particulars at a press convention later Thursday morning.
