Jets cornerback Kris Boyd is reportedly in important situation following a taking pictures in New York City.
As of Sunday (Nov. 16) afternoon, Boyd was at Bellevue Hospital after being shot and wounded in Midtown in the early morning hours.
According to the New York Post, the NFL participant was shot in the stomach outdoors of the Sei Less restaurant after an altercation turned violent, main to 2 photographs being fired.
The shooter then fled the scene in a BMW X8 SUV. According to sources, a second car, a Mercedes-Benz Maybach, additionally left the scene.
So far, there have been no arrests in the taking pictures, and it stays below investigation.
Though Boyd wasn’t initially recognized because the sufferer, the Jets later confirmed his involvement in the taking pictures.
“We are aware of the situation involving Kris Boyd and will have no further comment at this time,” a Jets consultant mentioned.
Boyd signed a one-year take care of the Jets this previous NFL offseason after spending two years with the Houston Texans. In August, he was positioned on injured reserve on account of a shoulder damage.
