Miguel has revealed that he enjoys the psychedelic delights of magic mushrooms, particularly when taking them exterior.
The R&B singer, who simply launched his new album, CHAOSsat down with Bootleg Kev for a brand new interview, throughout which he was requested to share tales about his greatest and worst journeys whereas beneath the affect.
“We love psychedelics,” Miguel stated at across the 29:45 minute mark within the video under, earlier than including that he is had “mostly good trips.”
“The best ones are always outside, though,” he went on. “Either by water or within the forest type of vibe. Maybe not within the forest, however just like the sky is out. You know what I imply? Like you are trying on the timber, you are like, ‘Wow, we really are one.'”
He continued: “There’s a real something in — especially shrooms and psychedelics — that there’s something in the…it’s all one, you know, there’s the oneness of it. I don’t know. There’s something really special. Never had a bad trip, though.”
While having never had a bad trip on psychedelics, Miguel did admit that the same can’t be said weed.
“I’ve had some bad trips,” he explained. “They always end up in me crying over some bullshit.” One trip in particular was while he was on an edible. “I was like under a car, hiding. … That’s one, you bought to trip that out,” he stated.
On Thursday (October 23), Miguel launched his first studio album in eight years, CHAOS. The 12-track album contains just one characteristic, from the legendary George Clinton. The singer’s final studio album was 2017’s War & Leisure. Between that undertaking and CHAOShe launched two EPs: 2019’s I instructed you and 2021’s Art Dealer Chic 4.
