Gentle Monster opens first Paris boutique in the Marais

South Korean luxurious eyewear model Gentle Monster on Friday opened its very first flagship retailer in continental Europe. Located in the coronary heart of the Marais district in Paris, the new handle is a sensory and inventive expertise that displays Gentle Monster’s avant-garde world.

Founded in 2011 in South Korea, Gentle Monster has established itself as a world benchmark in experimental design and visible storytelling. Known for its boldly styled eyewear and cutting-edge inventive collaborations, the model appeals equally to style lovers and modern artwork lovers. Present in 16 international locations worldwide, it continues to develop with the opening of this Paris boutique, an emblem of its rising affect on the world stage.

Located at 132 Rue Vieille-du-Temple, in the third arrondissement, the new flagship embodies Gentle Monster’s distinctive philosophy: fusing avant-garde design with the exploration of human feelings. The area notably contains a spectacular set up, the “Giant Head Kinetic Object”, created by the Gentle Monster Robotics Lab. This mechanical piece includes three shifting faces, evoking contemplation, the complexity of cognition, and the invisible bonds between beings.

On the first flooring, one other piece of kinetic artwork, “Star”, performs with pure mild to solid a delicate glow harking back to the morning solar. These immersive creations mirror the model’s need to ask guests to interact in real poetic introspection.

Open day by day from 10:30am to 7:30pm, the Marais boutique presents an expertise at the crossroads of style, artwork and expertise, true to the visionary spirit of Gentle Monster, which continues to redefine the boundaries of experiential retail.
