Currensy Responds to Freddie Gibbs Diss in Most Casual Wa …

Currensy’s action to Freddie Gibbs’ diss was equally as cool as his songs.

Currensy dealt with Gibbs in the opening lines of “Rich Uncle Intro” from his brand-new job, 8/30.

On the track, he raps, “Told me start a Chevy, but i brought the Rolls out/Used to be homies, tried to include me in their roll out/Woke up to animosity I ain’t even know about/I turned some ‘Office’ re-runs on and I zoned out.”

Gibbs dissed Currensy on the track “Gas Station Sushi” from Alfredo 2 On the track, Gibbs referrals their 2018 job Fetti.

“Could’ve ran that Fetti by myself, bitch, I’m the best with AI, yeah/Bitch, keep it G, we like on part three, n***a, uh/Go start a Chevy up, don’t start me, n***a,” Gibbs rapped.

Currensy addressed Gibbs’ diss in the comments section of a post from one of his producers, Cash Fargo, who threatened Gibbs for coming at the rapper. Fargo wrote, “Stop fuckin playing lil dude” along with some other threats, including that he’ll “jump out there and do sum to you behind you not watching yo mouth.”

Currensy commented to show Fargo—and Gibbs—that he’s not taking the diss seriously. “We ain’t trippin hahah send me some beats tho,” wrote Currensy.

Back in 2023, Gibbs revealed to the world that he was upset about how Currensy handled the release of their joint project. When responding to fans on social media who were wondering when a sequel would come out, he let them down by saying there wouldn’t be one.

Gibbs took it a step further by addressing the situation on an Instagram burner page, where he explained more details about what happened.

” N *** a shitted on our very first job,” he wrote. “Didn’ t shoot one video clip or do one program. I ain’t anger, I simply deducted him from the formula and me and Al made one more traditional [and] went to theGrammys End of tale.”
