Cam’ron gave Akademiks his flowers in the course of the It Is What It Is panel at ComplexCon.

“First of all, I wanna tell you…thanks for the continuous support of, of course, the show but just me as a rapper,” Cam’ron mentioned. “Before everybody was podcasting and everything else, I remember you had a show on YouTube and nobody even knew [what] you looked like, and I was like, ‘This guy always showed me super duper love, man.’
“And it’s been going on for years and you still do, so I just want to tell you thank you and congratulations on everything you got going on. Thank you for the continued support.”
As for Akademiks’ query, he appeared to be asking whether or not it might be “worth it” to interview Adrien Broner in gentle of the boxer’s contentious current look on It Is What It Is. In September, Cam’ron ended his interview with Broner mid-episode as a result of he was flirting with the podcast’s moderator, Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson, and soccer analyst Arabia Tillery.
