French First Lady Brigitte Macron is ready to current photographic and scientific proof proving she’s, in truth, a lady.
Brigette and her husband, French President Emmanuel Macron, will provide the proof as a part of their ongoing defamation case in opposition to Candace Owens, a right-wing political commentator who has promoted unfounded claims that Brigette was born a organic male.
“[Brigette] is firmly resolved to do what it takes to set the record straight,” the Macrons’ lawyer, Tom Clare, mentioned on the BBC’s Fame Under Fire podcast, “If that unpleasantness and that discomfort… is what it takes to stop this, she’s 100% ready to meet that burden.”
Clare advised the hosts that Brigette deliberate to current skilled testimony that will “be scientific in nature,” in addition to household information and being pregnant photographs from her first marriage.
“It is incredibly upsetting to think that you have to go and subject yourself, to put this type of proof forward,” the lawyer continued. “It is a process that she will have to subject herself to in a very public way… If that unpleasantness and that discomfort that she has of opening herself up in that way is what it takes to set a record straight and stop this, she’s 100% ready to meet that burden.”
Clare advised Fame Under Fire that the Macrons’ authorized battle with Owens has been a “distraction” to the French president, which is comprehensible contemplating the defendant’s “incredibly upsetting” claims.
“I don’t want to suggest that it somehow has thrown him off his game,” the lawyer clarified. “But just like anybody who is juggling a career and a family life, as well, when your family is under attack, it wears on you. And he’s not immune from that because he’s the president of a country.”
In July 2025, the Macrons filed a 22-count defamation lawsuit in the United States in opposition to Owens. The political commentator, who has garnered hundreds of thousands of followers throughout numerous social media platforms, has repeatedly claimed that Brigette was born beneath the identify Jean-Michel Trogneux, which really belongs to Brigette’s older — and really a lot alive — brother.
According to TimeOwens has referred to Brigette as a “pedophile” who spent years grooming Emmanuel. Brigette reportedly met Emmanuel in 1993, when she was working as a drama trainer at his highschool. The French first woman was 39 on the time, and Emmanuel was 15. The couple tied the knot in 2007.
Owens has accused the Macrons of “relentless bullying” and referred to the case as an “obvious and desperate public relations strategy.” Her authorized crew has filed a movement to dismiss the grievance.
Shortly after Clare’s interview with Fame Under FireOwens took to X to declare she was not being sued for alleging Brigette was born a male.
“This is verifiably false. She isn’t suing me for saying she’s a man,” Owens wrote. “She has never sued anyone ever for saying she’s a dude. Because she is one.”
Per the Macrons’ lawsuit: “These outlandish, defamatory, and far-fetched fictions included that Mrs. Macron was born a man, stole another person’s identity, and transitioned to become Brigitte; Mrs Macron and President Macron are blood relatives committing incest; President Macron was chosen to be the President of France as part of the CIA-operated MKUltra program or a similar mind-control program; and Mrs. Macron and President Macron are committing forgery, fraud, and abuses of power to conceal these secrets.”
