Balmain has named Antonin Tron as its new Creative Directorfollowing the confirmed departure of Olivier Rousteing after 14 years on the French luxurious home.
The acclaimed designer, greatest identified for founding his impartial label Atlein in 2016, is about to current his debut assortment for Balmain in March 2025, forward of the autumn/winter 2026 season. According to WWD, Tron will now dedicate himself completely to the home.

A graduate of Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Tron belongs to a era of designers identified for his or her mental and technical method to design. Classmates included Demna and Glenn Martens.
Before launching Atlein, Tron honed his expertise at Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Balenciaga, and Saint Laurent, collaborating with artistic leaders such as Nicolas Ghesquière, Alexander Wang, and Demna.
At Balmain, Tron is anticipated to convey a refined, material-targeted sensibility, aligning with the founder Pierre Balmain’s perception that “dressmaking is the architecture of movement.”

Tron’s appointment comes amid a wave of management adjustments throughout main trend homes.
