ASAP Rocky Seemingly Disses Drake on ‘Don’t Be Dumb’

ASAP Rocky has lastly dropped his album DON’T BE DUMB after years of delays and leaks. On observe 4 of the album, Rocky seems to set his sights on Drake with a diss.

He raps, “First you stole my flow, so I stole yo’ bitch,” seemingly referencing his long-standing beef with Drake over a number of points—most notably accusations that Drake copied his model and Rocky’s relationship with Rihanna.

Rocky continues getting into on “clones,” rapping, “N****s getting BBLs, lucky we don’t body shame / Throwing dirt on Rocky name, turn around and copy game.” The traces harken again to Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s 2024 feud, which included Metro Boomin’s viral “BBL Drizzy” second and Kendrick’s jabs at Drake’s alleged beauty surgical procedure on “Euphoria.”

Rocky seemingly confirmed the supposed goal of the observe throughout a latest episode of Jon Caramanica and Joe Coscarelli’s podcast, Popcast. “I think we all know,” Rocky mentioned to the hosts once they urged Drake was the topic of the diss. He later agreed when one host said that the web was “going to say it’s Drake.” Rocky went on to elucidate the place the strain stemmed from, saying, “I just started seeing people who started out as friends and then became foes. It seemed like they were unhappy for you and, you know, started sending shots. And I think that is what led to any of our misunderstandings, or whatever the case is.”

Some of the “shots” Rocky could also be referencing date again to Drake’s 2023 album For All the Dogssignificantly the track “Fear of Heights.” In the observe’s opening traces, followers speculated that Drake took subliminal photographs at Rihanna by way of wordplay involving “Anti,” the title of her eighth studio album, Anti.

“I’m anti, I’m anti/ Yeah, and the intercourse was common with you/ Yeah, I’m anti ‘trigger I had it with you/ Okay, I’m auntie like your daddy’s sister/ Auntie like a household image/ And I had means badder bitches than you, TBH,” he raps.

He then continues, saying, “Yeah, that man, he still with you, he can’t leave you/ Y’all go on vacation, I bet it’s Antigua,” which was speculated to be a reference to Rocky since he was with Rihanna at the time and has since become the father of their three children, leaving Drake seemingly still sour about his broken relationship with Riri.

Rocky did backtrack a bit in the interview when asked again about the track being about Drake, saying, “it’s whoever feel like it’s about them,” he declared. Rocky might have dodged outright stating whether this is true or not, but in the past he has been quite open about dissing Drake, such as his feature on Metro Boomin and Future’s collaboration album We Still Don’t Trust You.

On the track “Show of Hands,” Rocky spits over Metro Boomin’s grand production, flexing his relationship with Rihanna once again: “N****s in they feelings over women, what, you hurt or somethin’?/ I smashed before you birthed, son, Flacko hit it first, son.”

The track was a response to shots Drake took on his diss track, “Family Matters” aimed at numerous rappers, including Rocky, where he said, “Even when you do drop, they gon’ say you should’ve modeled ’cause it’s mid again/ Smokin’ Fenty ’bout it, should’ve put you on the first one, tryna get it in/ Ask Fring if this a good idea the next time you cuddled in that bed again/ She’ll even tell you leave the boy alone ‘fore you get your head split again.”

Rocky seems to be done with the situation, saying on Popcast that it “don’t even need to be [resolved].” He makes his sentiment even more clear on the track rapping on the third verse, “My child momma Rihanna, so we unbothered.”
