The 2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is just around the corner, and it’s like Christmas in July! This is one of my favorite sales of the year. The #NSSARE features the best styles across various categories at incredible discounts. This is my 11th year sharing my sale experience and I cannot wait to show you what I am loving and buying.
WHAT IS THE NORDSTROM SALE?
The Nordstrom sale is an annual event, this year the public sale runs from July 12 – August 03. If you’re never shopped the #NSSARE before, it is the best time for you to shop at Nordstrom as they slash prices on brand new arrivals, which makes it a great time to elevate your wardrobe and splurge on investment pieces for the seasons ahead. However, it can be overwhelming with so many styles to browse and shop. That’s why I wanted to share my “pro” shopping tips with you.
1. SIGN UP TO GET EARLY ACCESS
If you have not joined the Nordstrom rewards program, it’s a great idea to do before the sale. It’s free to join the Nordy Club and it gives you early access to shop the sale (up to four days early!). Early access is very important for this sale as products sell out so quickly, many times before the general public even gets a chance to shop! Throughout the year, this program also gains you points and gives you discounts – just another reason to click the image below and sign up!
2. PLAN AHEAD AND SET A BUDGET
As I mentioned above, the #NSSARE can get quite overwhelming, so it’s best to plan ahead if you want to get the most out of this sale. Setting a budget of how much you’re willing to spend is key and will help you not to make impulse purchases you may later regret. Once your budget is set, use the Sale Preview (which goes live June 26) to make a wish list of all the items you would like to purchase in the sale. Keep your budget in mind, but also take a few days to come back to your list and weed out or add items you have had time to think over. This way, you are more likely to be happy with your sale purchases.
3. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF FREE RETURNS
One negative of online shopping is that you are not able to try on the clothes before you buy them. Thanks to Nordstrom’s free returns, you can order multiple sizes, try them on and then return the ones that do not fit perfectly. Not sure if the medium coat will fit over a heavy sweater? Order a large, too and try it on with your favorite fall sweater at home. It saves a lot of disappointment when your Nordstrom sale order arrives at your door.
