John Lewis is launching a 38-piece collection with Labrum London on 21 October, marking its first menswear collaboration for 10 years.
The vary has been fastidiously created by Labrum’s founder and Creative Director, Foday Dumbuya, who was just lately nominated for British Menswear Designer of the Year by the British Fashion Council, and John Lewis’ in-home design staff.
It is impressed by a fusion of cultures, combining the daring patterns and vibrant textiles of West Africa with modern British color and silhouettes, with an autumnal palette of “inky” navy and brown with pops of mustard yellow, burnt orange and comfortable impartial shades.
